Arkansaurus ("The #Arkansas Lizard") is the only known #dinosaur from its namesake state. Described based on toe bones and foot claws dating to the mid-Cretaceous, it is believed to be an ostrich-like ornithomimosaur about 8 to 10 feet long. (#PaleoArt by @BrianEngh_Art)
