Other similarities: Main mechanic was building transport, like mine karts. Ganondorf would turn into the Demon King because of a stone. You would light Hyrule's depths to navigate them. However, my idea had: Buff Tingle, the real Zelda as a tiny brat, Ganondorf as your best bud.

After playing Zelda TotK, I was reminded of a 14 year old Zelda concept I made pre Skyward Sword. The game would start underground with Link, Zelda and Ganondorf as regular people at first. You would gradually climb up and reach sky islands using crystal Sheika shrines.

Why not: Regardless of its origins, Majora potentially depicts a stylized monkey.
