About Twoucan

What is Twoucan ?

Twoucan is a service that specializes in viewing illustrations, manga, cosplay, and models posted on Twitter. You can also see what keywords are popular. You can also check the trend of what keywords are popular at the same time.

This service makes the most of the know-how cultivated by "TINAMI - Navigator of Manga Artists -", which has been in operation since 1996.

Since its launch in 2006, Twitter has gained a large number of users thanks to its ease of use and open strategy, and has now grown to become one of the world's largest SNS. Since 2011, when Twitter officially started allowing users to post images, it has become an attractive place for people who draw illustrations and manga to present their works, backed by an overwhelming number of users. At some point, Twitter became a social network for posting illustrations and manga.

However, Twitter is a place where users of various genres gather, and the number of images posted is huge and diverse. It takes a great deal of effort to find the work you want among the many images, and to view it with a browser or client application that is not specialized for viewing.

The idea behind this service was to make it easier for people who want to see the works on Twitter to do so without much effort.
--This is how we started the development of this service.

Origin of the service name

Toucan -- The Toucan, also known as the "Jewel of the Amazon" is a beautiful bird with a large, colorful beak that lives in South America. Twitter used to be a place where people could enjoy the beautiful "tweets" of birds, but as a result of a wide variety of birds from all over the world gathering here, we are now able to see birds with colorful and beautiful forms that we have never seen before.

Let's meet more and more wonderful works of art (=birds) from all over the world that are as beautiful as this toucan and that we have yet to see!

This service uses the Twitter API, and is provided in compliance with the "Developer Agreement and Policy" set forth by Twitter. The display of tweets is in accordance with Twitter's terms of service, and if the original tweet is deleted from Twitter, it will also be deleted from this service.

We also take the utmost care in the content of the works we display. We have implemented safe search, so that by default, works that may contain sensitive content will not be displayed.
