I was courageous with my last #inktober drawings. I added details and dared to fill outlines with ink. I played with themes in my own style. I made more than one sketch and accepted imperfection. Most important: I had fun and learned a few things. #GraphicDesign #drawing

I plan a final design before I start inking, making a pencil sketch for each #inktober drawing. I trace/pencil the image in my #leuchtturm1917 notebook (teal, favourite colour). I re-draw with my micronpens. I'm learning each pen and finding for my inking style. #sleep #trap #rip

It's amazing how my brain works during the creative process. Sometimes I get a clear, immediate image, as for #outpost and #dizzy. Sometimes I struggle. The first ideas for #storm didn't work. I'm learning be creative instead of following arbitrary rules (see #rocket). #inktober

I'm using my own experiences as inspiration for #inktober. I skated on frozen ponds in Skedsmokorset, lived near sand dunes in Kjerringøy, and wondered (from afar) at fire ant mounds all over Norway. I remembered most of the steps to folding an origami crane... #GraphicDesign
