deku saw the best in bakugo even when bakugo was at his worst, and later on bakugo saw the best in deku when deku was at *his* worst. but they’ve always recognized each other’s potential since day one and that’s why they inspire each other to grow.
bakugo was the first major character aside from the protagonist to be established at the very start of mha and was the primary vehicle for introducing us to society’s biases and stigmas. for him to have developed past those beliefs was really significant for the narrative
the gag with mina/hawks/tokoyami is funny, but i hope people aren’t being disrespectful of the kiviak/kiviaq itself! it’s a traditional Inuit delicacy that provides nutrients and protein in a place where the winters are harsh.
