#Inktober day 11, sciart x official prompts: Marine life x snow. #inktober2019 Bite-size science: Walrus skin is 2-5cm (0.75-2in) thick. The blubber beneath it is up to 15cm (5.9in) thick. For contrast, human skin averages 2mm (0.08in), capping out at 4mm (0.16in) on the heels.
