Reconstruction of ERMNH HFV 197, a nicely preserved Prognathodon sp. specimen from Maastrichthian of Jordan (nature.com/articles/ncomm…). This fossil has become indisputable evidence of hypocercal caudal fin in mosasaurids. Also, judging by the size, it is a juvenile. #paleoart

New work! This is portrait of sebecid crocodylomorph Langstonia huilensis from Middle Miocene of Colombia. Bigger relative of Eocene Sebecus icaeorhinus, it known by fragmentary remains including parts of snout. Langstonia was a macropredator with serrated teeth. #paleoart

Another dinosaur described in last year. This is male of abelisaurid Kurupi itaata, which scans environment in searches of females and does mating calls with throat pouch. It is named after god of sex and fertility so I decided to draw a male in mating season. 🙂 #paleoart

Sooo, it's my new work! Angry Heterodontosaurus tucki attacked Dracovenator regenti who clearly did not expect such treatment with himself. Sometimes (especially defending the nest) small animals will attack much bigger predators. #dinosaurs #paleoart
