Cosplay tip: When threading elastic through a casing, mark the ends of the same side of the elastic with a pen that won't bleed (I used a water-soluble fabric pen) This way, you can match up the ends as to not end up with twisted elastic

When you have seams on sheer fabric that you want to reduce the appearance of, bind them in mesh close in tone to your skin or whatever will be worn underneath! This causes the seams to visually disappear rather than stay noticeably darker than the rest of the garment.
