It's fun to try to find ways to control readers so that they read the panels in the "wrong" order--instead of L-R, top-to-bottom. In this page from ENTER THE BLUE, the music notation pushes the reader down, up, and down, which brings a fitting momentum to Jimmy's collapse!

This afternoon I saw that Miles Davis' sublime album KIND OF BLUE was released on this date in 1959 so I had to make some time to pay tribute to it! Managed to squeeze this one in today while listening to the album. Whew, what a magical record.
