Some more JRPG-ish #pixelart tiles in authentic #NES graphics. This was a lot of fun to work with and took less tiles than I imagined, since many can be reused with different sub-palettes.
After a nice talk with @bitinkstudios I tried a little experiment on how a pixel filter based on the marching-squares algo might be more effective for small scale #pixelart character sprites around 16x16px, while typical filters tend to remove close packed detail at that scale.
Slightly improved version of the #voxelart RPG character made to look like #lowpoly, trying to simulate some painterly flat brushes with the smoothed voxels
