The art of the start... For every longer shaded effort I did like the one in my previous post, I did 10x that many 20-minute layins to practice starting a drawing right. And even more smaller 2-5 minute quick sketches. Balance out quick and long efforts. Both are useful.

This is Olya. She passed away 3 years ago. Her great niece is in the Ukrainian army. Her grandson and great nephew volunteered for the Territorial Defense Forces last week to fight for Ukraine. 🙏
