A lot of new people have found me here recently. If you're one of them, or anyone who's already been following my work for some time now, I want to say thank you for being interested in what I do. It means a lot. - #ShadowOfTheBeast #cosplay made by me in 2019, photo by @void256
New #Turrican #cosplay progress: crotch armor and right forearm. For this 3rd suit I made both gauntlets unique for the first time. Unfortunately this costume won't be ready for Gamescom 2022, but I'm considering bringing the 2nd suit briefly out of retirement there. #RETROGAMING
More #Turrican #cosplay progress! I've finished crafting the left lower arm. As usual, the design is a mix of various references and the equivalent armor piece from my previous Turrican suit. Next up: right lower arm and left shoulder cannons. #RETROGAMING
Here's some more #Turrican #cosplay progress from the last few weeks: armor pieces 6 and 7, aka the upper arms. These, too, are mostly based on the equivalent parts of my 2nd Turrican suit, but I improved the design a bit. Next I'll likely make the shoulder cannons. #retrogaming
Here's how my 3rd #Turrican #cosplay looks like at the moment. The neck armor is the newest addition to the suit. Most parts are still missing, but I like the progress so far and can hardly wait to see this with more armor pieces and a fancy paint job. #RETROGAMING
More #Turrican #cosplay progress, yay! This is the 4th armor piece of my newest Turrican suit that's now ready for priming and painting. This one took much longer to make than the two previous versions, but I don't mind because the result is so much better. #RETROGAMING
What's this, a new #ShadowOfTheBeast #cosplay photo?! It's actually an old one, taken by @void256 in the basement during my final costest back in 2019. The moody background is completely unedited - all that red light comes from the back of Aarbron's head. #RETROGAMING
I've made a new armor piece for the 3rd #Turrican #cosplay. The belt is ready for priming, just like the helmet and waist armor I made last year. It's the simplest looking part of the whole suit, but still it's nice to make progress. Only about 20 more parts to go... #RETROGAMING
The collar is done. With that, my 9th Amiga related #cosplay, Blue Queen from #BattleChess, is finished! This means two things: there's going to photos of the full costume soon, and I can now continue working on my 3rd Turrican suit. I'm pretty excited about both. #RETROGAMING
Here's another Blue Queen costume part that I finished this week. My fellow #RETROGAMING fans might notice a sneaky reference here, much like the one I did with the belt earlier. I'm working on the last missing piece now so this #BattleChess #cosplay should be finished soon.
Good news: my Blue Queen #cosplay from #BattleChess will soon be complete! I've finished the crown and the jewelry this week. Here's how the necklace turned out. I only need to make the collar and I've already started working on it so it shouldn't take long now. #RETROGAMING
Here's the current status of Blue Queen's crown and jewelry. I haven't been able to make any progress since the end of the year because I've had practically no free time whatsoever. Hopefully I can start priming these today and finish the costume in February. #cosplay #cosplaywip
I've finished another costume piece for the Blue Queen #cosplay from the classic #BattleChess. The shoes will hardly be seen but I still wanted to add a few details that match with the costume. Currently it looks like I can finish the cosplay by the end of the year. #RETROGAMING
The 1st finished part of my Blue Queen #cosplay from Battle Chess is here! This is my interpretation of a few yellow pixels. I had a lot of room for interpretation plus the opportunity to add a semi-sneaky Amiga reference. The dress will also be finished soonish. #RETROGAMING
What's that other retro game cosplay I'm currently working on alongside the new Turrican suit? Why, it's Blue Queen from the classic Battle Chess! I've been working on it for a few weeks now and I'm getting close to finishing the dress and the belt soon. #RETROGAMING #cosplay
Some more WIP #Turrican #cosplay armor, namely the waist piece. Hardly the most impressive part of the whole but still, making progress is nice. Currently I'm also working on another retro game costume and hope to finish most of it by the end of the month. #RETROGAMING
More sylvari progress, yay! After a whole lot of hours, my Evergreen Shoulderguards are ready for priming. Can't wait to see this thing in pretty colors. But first I'll start working on something new: either the wig, the coat or the prosthetics. #GuildWars2 #GW2 #cosplay
More #GuildWars2 sylvari #cosplay progress: Nightshade Boots are now ready for priming. They're not the most comfortable things ever to wear but hey, since when was that relevant 😅 Next I'll either be working on the gloves, the shoulders or the wig, depending on my mood. #GW2
The proper winter outside reminds me of my Issa #cosplay from #FadeToSilence and the photo shoot @void256 and I had two years ago. I miss making and wearing costumes as detailed as this one. Luckily I have some cool plans and want to get a lot done this year. More info soonish.
As some of you may have noticed, I like to specialize in Amiga related costumes. Currently I have 7 of them if you count the @Chris_Huelsbeck #cosplay among them. Let me know if there's something specific you'd like to see in the future. #turrican #shadowofthebeast #RETROGAMING
A new #Turrican #cosplay photo! This was actually taken back in 2016 but I never edited or posted it back then, probably because I thought it looked too similar to the others. But I found it now and corrected the mistake. The original photo was taken by Joni Halonen. #RETROGAMING
