I finished the first entry about the dwarves in the sketch book of the stranger. "The dwarves are the most interesting race I have interacted with and learn from. sadly, I was not able to prevent the gremlin from tarnishing my pages again, but I guess the doodles add something."

Thimbles are the most common output used by mages. Thimbles have a little cup imbedded in the tip of them to put kindling into. Kindling is used up in the casting of spells.

Humans weren't designed to cast spells, but that didn't stop them. The circular plate on the arm is the input. a device to allow mana into the body. it has to be learned like a second form of breathing. then magic can be used though an output. which are the metal tipped fingers.
