#PortfolioDay Whole-book projects. I love an opportunity to *fully* illustrate a book. Cover, interior page illustrations, spot illustrations sure, but also... -maps -diagrams -borders -little fiddly bits to go between paragraphs... Graphic design isn't my passion, but this is.

It's my birthday, so I'm doin an art thread with some of my faves. First off: ✨ Caribou Astronomer, 🌿 Rabbit Gardener, 🗡️ Heron Knight, and 🧪 Barn Owl Apothecary. All painted primarily in watercolor with some ink, gouache and colored pencil here & there.

I used to listen to CR (and draw fanart in my sketchbook) at my non-creative, art-adjacent day job. Listening helped keep me sane! In the last 3 years I've been freelancing fulltime, so the fanart's slowed down, but I still love putting CR on while I work <3 #criticalrolefanart
