Last week was a very emotional week for me. The passing of an art-school teacher I really admired really hit me in a way I was not expecting. Also being showered with a kind of love from friends I hadn't experienced before was overwhelming in wonderful ways I can't explain.

My favorite part about working on Soaring in Style was learning that Amelia Earhart was a fashion designer. I was sent an enormous gallery of reference images of Amelia in beautiful gowns and even designing her own! I loved it. Published by @CapstonePub written by @jenwilsonkc

My love letter to the US healthcare system and the amazingly helpful and not at all arbitrary insurance I pay for. I know I ranted plenty but I was supposed to get an important test done today but I had to re-schedule to December as the insurance has yet to authorize it, yay!

I think this journey was very painful but Im very glad to be here. Im happy to have some closure with my past and the ability to implement the support systems I never had growing up. I still feel isolated but Im glad to have found an online community to relate to. #CosmicTakeOver

I've also have never been open about what turned out to be an eating disorder, how much weight I gained through the pandemic, or how dark your mind goes when you are in pain. I didn't know "restlessness" was not anxiety but internalized hyperactivity. #CosmicTakeOver
