Figured I'd give #mermay a shot with a bit of an unusual start. While territorial, these rare creatures are usually shy and hide in caves from where they can ambush their prey.

I've been meaning to work on an arthropod #fairy for a long time and figured I'd continue with some #inktober2020 work while it lasts. In retrospect, I can't say I don't see some Pan's Labyrinth influences here. #art #fantasy
