Cover artist pro tip : If you have a more realistic style, learn about armor and clothes design. I am talking fabrics, textures, seams, rivets, articulation.. Very often you are given a rough design and you need to make it work. It works better if you understand what u r doing.

I did this chaotic thing for issue 6 of Dark Ages, staring a gritty version of Ghostrider. It doesn’t seem like much because I am a slow learner but incorporation of empty (white) elements is a risky thing and I am glad of the way it turned out. Also, fire ! Love drawing fire :)
