I think society has a big emphasis on “fixing” yourself, but sometimes you don’t need fixing because you’re not broken. I thought I needed to be more resilient to stress/anxiety, but I actually needed to be kinder to myself, by putting less pressure on myself and working less.
The little things you might not even think about make you special and important in this world! ✨ I think everyone has something special, even if they don’t know it yet.
We often hear it’s good to treat yourself (and I agree!!), but you don’t really get pats on the back for doing healthy stuff. So this is my good job for anyone who is making healthy choices, even if they’re not fun! 👏
Sadness can make us lethargic and want to isolate ourselves, but I often find that it helps to hang out with others and do things that I like, even if I feel like I don’t want to at the time. You do need to let yourself be sad sometimes, but you don’t have to sit in it for long!
