#Inktober 24: Kim hesitated, the scalpel shaking in her hand. She took a steadying breath. "At least tonight couldn't get any worse," she thought. Then the screaming started.
#Inktober 23: The giant robot, Gort, diligently took the gravely wounded Klaatu to an abandoned woodland cabin in Michigan to recuperate, not realising that the command words "Klaatu barada nikto" would have unintended consequences in this place of all places.
#Inktober 22: A child's gift given in love, forever stained red. (I considered taking a break from this as I had VERY vivid nightmares last night. But we press on. Just have to hope I've not opened the door for some sort of Babadook-type entity to take hold in the dark spaces)
#Inktober 21: Whisky has many uses - a comfort, a peace offering, a de-icer, a fuel source. In a pinch, it can even be used as a computer hacking tool.
#Inktober 18: With a resounding HONK! the choice was made. The Merman was on the march. Well, more of a slithering, flopping shuffle, really. (Not my best work, but it was done quickly on my lunch break, so eh)
#Inktober 17: As the assistant obediently tipped the third bottle down the drain, he wondered if he should report his boss. By the tenth, he pondered the environmental impact of their actions. By the 70th, he was just considering just lighting a match and getting it over with.
#Inktober 15: As Jamie sorted through her memory box, she felt as though she was being watched. She looked up with a start, as she looked into the eyes of her faithful dog, Sundae, who would always be with her, no matter what.
#Inktober 14: Luckily for humanity, on the night that Carla was due to claim her place as the Most Evil Deer In The World, she encountered a swarm of red slugs that left her mindless and controlled, like some sort of terrible puppet.
#Inktober 13: Young Bobby McAxem'n woke with a start, realising he'd had yet another nosebleed. The same nightmare again - the counsellors getting attacked and, worse, playing... *shudder* ..Monopoly.
#Inktober 12: Lil Chippy was never the same after that fateful day. These days, it can be found at a local sideshow, where it's said you can hear the panicked screams of an idiot college kid on quiet nights.
#Inktober 10: Aconite. Monkshood. Wolf's Bane. Whatever you call it, make sure you have plenty to hand when the moon is full and the howls fill the air.
#Inktober 9: As his teeth sank in, he winced. Brain freeze was such a pain. At least the worst was over. (Also a bonus pic from last year, when I used a scene from the film as a reference)
