The carved wood frame was a digital addition, and the main art is oil and 24k gold leaf on an 18x36 board. At the time this was the biggest piece I had ever made.

My first piece of art from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty was teased today in the Dragon-Kami Reborn story feature. I can't say much about it yet since the card hasn't released yet, but I'm extra excited to share this one as it's my very first traditional painting for Magic. #MTGNeon
