When I created Rajah from Aladdin I struggled with the fluidity in the design until I saw a Jaguar hood ornament. It inspired me to get the design where it needed to be. You never know where inspiration will come from.

In Brother Bear during the "On My Way" song, Kenai and Koda are leaning over a cliff, held up by the wind. The idea came out of our research trip to Alaska where Chuck Williams and I leaned into the wind on a small ledge. It was such a cool feeling we had to put it in the movie.

As a kid I loved The Creature From the Black lagoon. It was my favorite monster/creature from that era. It was that movie and Star Wars that got me really interested in creating creatures from my head. As I've grown older my love for Creature Design has only grown.
