Mortanura: This species of monster is almost entirely female, and can self-fertilize the eggs it produces. The babies are carried in holes on its back, and launch like missiles when separating. It can also launch unfertilized eggs for self-defense. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
Elasmog: This somewhat small but heavy monster is found in multiple undergrowth habitats, feeding off of grounded fruit. Their giant horn is usually used to punch holes in trees and draw out sap, its favorite food, but is also a powerful weapon. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
Prawnaught: Transformed through eating a certain type of plant, this monster is just as stubborn and resilient as it was before, but now it can actually fight back. Not only can its claws inflict grievous wounds, but they can also create shockwaves. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
Herasoil: Often seen gliding along rivers, Herasoil can walk on water thanks to their oil coated feet. They have excellent eyesight, and use their position on the water to stab at fish below them, or harass other monsters on the shore. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
Tunarma: A Tunarma's tusks are well-suited to cracking open the armor of many sea monsters. Their wing-like fins and glittering gold scales give them a regal appearance, but their brutal and messy fighting style betrays that front. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
Maerattl: Attracted by the tunes of Phonacora, Maerattl are surprisingly efficient at slaying prey - considering they are herbivores. Their movements while doing so are highly reminiscent of dancing, only heightened by the song Phonacora sing. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
Stagknight: This monster is known to be in constant conflict with Pelash. Its front limbs are protected by almost impenetrable shells, and it attacks by ramming its horn into its foe's underside. It stays immobile underground for most of its life. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
Myceleigon: One of the oldest monsters to date, Mycelegion are almost immortal, as they can regrow at their birthplace. They are very destructive - launching explosive spore orbs from the holes in their caps, but they tend to keep away from humans. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
Forgeevil: The Forgeevil's body is made of a super-heated jelly that contains many precious metals. As its vitals are precariously suspended within, it consumes metals with a high melting point to form a protective shell. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
Galaversa: This rare beast can be found soaring in the skies near tall mountains on starry nights. It lands at dawn in beds of flowers, where its wings pick up pollen and stones that form the 'stars' it's known for. It is rather friendly to people. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
Warden: These odd beings were discovered guarding ancient cells full of bones and treasure, hence the name “Warden”. They seem to be able to shift forms depending on the situation, melting down their spikes into new extremities. #monsterdesignmonday #pixelart
