@JoschuaKnuppe started the #paleozoo hashtag, where he illustrates speculative enclosures for extinct animals. I went with the animal husbandry and thought about possible animal ambassadors. My choice was then #eurohippus . With grapes and figs as payment. #paleoart

Results from the next #Paleozoo stream. Our little example zoo is slowly filling up. First we did an Eryops colony, followed by the Lystrosaurus valley, of course the Gigantopithecus bamboo forest had to be a thing and we ended with the Austroraptor waterfall.

The biggest problem with extinct megafauna isn't to keep it from breaking out (even with large theropods) but to provide enough space and food for such colossal stomachs. No fancy electrical fences needed when your enclosure design is smart enough. #paleozoo

You might have noticed that the test images for the #paleozoo challenge look very little like the JP/JW enclosures you often see. That's no mistake. I want to get this idea that dinosaur zoos have to look like brutalistic prisons out of peoples heads.

On todays #paleostream we started properly with our #PaleoZoo challenge, a server challenge that we co-host with the Prehistoric Kingdom dev team. To get the creative juices flowing we designed a full zoo full of extinct fauna!
