I forgot! I wanted to post here the alien I mentioned during #Tetzoocon. They caused quite a bit of confusion the first time they were encountered but quickly turned out to be harmless herbivores that use their torso keel to saw through branches of the local flora.
Anurognathids are just sky gremlins. Pretty sure it’s @WryCritic who mentioned at #TetZooCon these little guys were fluff balls, hence this very… experimental illustration.
Yesterday’s #paleoart workshop at #TetZooCon was in fact a brutal sweatshop in which participants were forced to generate ideas about possible behaviors of Tanystropheus. Note the tearstains.
