Today#s #MonkeyCruise piece is based on a famous photo by a unknown photographer showing unknown workers having a break on top of a skyscraper. In my version I flip the image from a prospering city into a burned forest. Not *just* to keep the largely monochrome look.

1 year ago we established the #MonkeyCruise series and hashtag as a regular thing on #paleostream. So far 25 images came together for this project.

The new #MonkeyCruise painting is based on "Ophelia" by John Everett Millais, a British painter, part of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. The idea here is that, quite like Ophilia, the primate fell from a tree, but from much further up, and while falling tried to grab vegetation.
